We’ve had a busy month working in partnership with our fellow SEND charities whilst raising awareness of our own work throughout the County.
We were delighted to meet up with students and lecturers from North Lindsey College in Scunthorpe on 13 November when we attended their Volunteer Fair. This was a great opportunity for us to share details of volunteer roles available and students to see how collaborating with a charity like LCPS can enhance and add to their skills. We’re looking forward to building on the relationship in the coming months.
Such a privilege to hear great speakers like Dean Beadle on 19 November at this year’s PAACT Parents and Autistic Children Together conference in Lincoln. Another networking and learning opportunity for us and it didn’t stop there. 29 November saw us rubbing shoulders with the best of them at the Lincolnshire Cerebral Palsy Conference organised by Lincolnshire Community Health Services and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Consultants and Therapists from across the regions came together to share the latest techniques and treatments available to those with cerebral palsy.
